[Discussion] Does anyone else find it strange that we pay MORE for products from animals that were raised properly?

Why the hell are we paying extra for animals that are raised the way they’ve normally been for the last hundreds of thousands of years. Why do I have to pay $7 for pasture raised soy-free eggs, instead of like a buck or two. My grandmother has chickens and they lay eggs like there’s no tomorrow. And they’re what I’d call pasture-raised. Does anyone see a change in our future?
