Face Puffiness and Keratosis Pilaris

I’ve been on & off ZC for almost 2 weeks now and FYI, I’m not happy with the slip ups.πŸ˜‘ Anyway, I can really say that meat truly heals! I didn’t realize how puffy my face was until I looked closely in the mirror today. It’s like my face lost weight! My stomach doesn’t look bloated anymore as well! I still weigh the same, but I can see and feel the difference in my body! What’s more is that my keratosis pilaris, which I have had for 6 years are almost completely gone ~and it has only been less than 2 weeks, with failures in between as well! I am just so happy!!!πŸ€— from Zero Carb Zebras https://ift.tt/2H1YXg0 via IFTTT

About this Sub

This place can be a really good resource for starting the diet. But like I said in a previous post, it’s almost gone so far up its own ass it’s ridiculous.People a couple months in telling others what they should and shouldn’t do. I’ve had posts removed because some dude was complaining he wasn’t losing weight, and he was drowning his burgers in butter. I said maybe don’t drown them in butter, seriously post removed.Owsley was the supposed pioneer. He didn’t use salt, this is a fucking experiment. He used spices, he used garlic. A serving of broccoli isn’t the same as a sprinkling of thyme. You should only say what works for you, all of our stuff is anectodal and experience based. There should be no “you have to do this”. from Zero Carb Zebras https://ift.tt/2SlUwyJ via IFTTT

Water Oven

Got this idea from a friend: use a hole saw bit to make a sous vide-sized opening in an ice chest. Fill with water, and do your sous-vide-ing in it. Hardly any water evaporates, and it loses a lot less heat than an open or metal reservoir.https://imgur.com/a/qBaUBK9Mine runs 24/7 - I pull a couple cuts out and drop a couple more in every evening.P. S. - the Lacroix belong to my wife. I am pretty much beef, salt, and water. from Zero Carb Zebras https://ift.tt/2XnY9ry via IFTTT

Has anyone watched the documentary The Evolution of Us, on Netflix?

I just finished watching this documentary and it was quite interesting. They talked about how our bodies evolved to make us efficient hunters. They started to lose me though when they began talking about how when we started to develop enzymes that allowed us to digest starches, that this was the point our brains started to grow because they required so much glucose. Before we had these enzymes our bodies apparently could not digest starches so our brains didn’t grow. Once we developed amylase, then we could digest the starches from tubers which allowed or brains to grow. Thoughts on this? from Zero Carb Zebras https://ift.tt/2GFNfIV via IFTTT

Starting Question

Would it be alright to do 2lbs of 80/20 ground beef and 5-6 eggs, per day for my first month? (Along with potassium/magnesium/salt)? from Zero Carb Zebras https://ift.tt/2NrQNyS via IFTTT
