On and off Paleo diet observation
Family issues kept me from anywhere near good Paleo eating for a long time and I just really got back to it about a week ago. All the familiar things came back quickly. No morning aches, no stuffiness, better mental outlook, and my hunger has stopped fluctuating like it used to on a more conventional diet.
Last night, to keep the family peace, we went out for pizza. No biggie. I had three small slices and had some water. I went home and sat on the couch and then realized how different ‘full’ feels on a regular diet as opposed to a Paleo one. A Paleo 'full’ is just satiated, while a conventional diet 'full’ is more like bloated and uncomfortable. And it’s amazing how it took only days to remind me just how unnatural a regular diet can make you feel. Just another reason to try to keep it closer to a clean diet.
