Trouble digesting nuts?

I’ve tried almost all nuts out there: cashews, almonds, peanuts, brazil, walnuts, you name it. Raw, roasted, even soaked overnight. The result is almost always the same depending on the amount eaten: heaviness, the sense that food is stuck in my stomach, bloating, then constipation. Seeds seem to do the same. Can one be successful on a Paleo diet without any nuts or nut butter altogether? Thanks!
