Hi Paleo Peoples! I suffer from some medical issues and my doc advised me to try paleo and it has helped me so much! Over the past year or so I’ve had a rough time and at this point Ive fallen away from it completely. I live with someone who is not interested in improving their health and there are many tempting foods around. This wasn’t an issue last time I was full paleo and I am nervous. [Question] Is my diet paleo?

So this started with my powerlifting coach recommending I lower my carbs to around 100g. At this point in time, I was counting calories, somewhere between cutting/maintaining, and ate a low-fat omnivorous diet, basically lean meat, eggs, vegetables, potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. I had also done keto in the past and carnivore, but I found the negative symptoms from both too overwhelming. I enjoyed eating carnivore a lot, but like keto it impacted my strength and power very negatively, and additionally it messed up my digestion severely regardless of how much fat I ate. So in any case, I cut out the higher carb sources, and now I eat fatty meat, eggs, ghee and lard sparingly. I also eat vegetables with my eggs preworkout and potatoes with meat after training. In the evenings I eat like a carnivore to satiety. My carbs are somewhere around 100g daily. Help with my lunches??

I have a super fast metabolism so its hard for me to gain weight unless I eat a lot. So I’ve been trying to start eating more however being on Paleo diet and just being a picky eater in general… Its also hard to find a good sustainable lunch that I enjoy and is also easy to heat up. Well after a lazy dinner one night, I think I discovered a good lunch for me; hamburgers and rice. Revolutionary, right? Haha. Anyways, it seems to work well for me and its cheaper and very easy to heat up. My question here is, I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas for making it more interesting? Currently its just rice and a burger with normal burger seasoning. Wondering if theres something I can do to spice it up a bit?
