Paleomedicina and 2:1 fat/lean ratio

I’ve been dieting for 20 years and have maintained a 100 pound weightloss for that long so I know all about satiety/CR/etc and have been keto/ZC for a majority of this time. Isn’t the prescription of 400 g of 2:1 fatty meat(~1500cals) really just a calorie restricted WOE? I’m perfectly fine with this prescription but was questioning why people think it is so magical?
