Please help storing trimmings

Hi friends 😄Y’all know any good way to preserve fat trimmings without a fridge/freezer?Was thinking maybe melting the fat in pan then cooling and collecting it.Or are there ways to cure it? Salting it?Basically any way to stop it getting moldy and smelly after a few days?
