PSA - Costco steaks may be blade tenderized, so bacteria gets pushed into the steak with needles, and they are supposed to be cooked to a minimum of 160F (well done) because of this

Having the bacteria pushed into the meat means you have to cook the inside thoroughly like ground beef. I’ll have to find another source of steaks that doesn’t do this.Link
