How do you respond when someone mentions the damaging effects of cattle farms on the environment?

I feel like I’ve seen a headline or snippet somewhere about the damaging environmental effects of mass production in the raising of cattle and cattle farms (Or other massive livestock farms) being over inflated by certain media outlets, but can’t quite remember where. I typically just tell people that the same could be said for the emissions of most modern forms of travel and their damaging effects on the environment. That tends to shut most people up but I just wanted to see what others say in response to this question and if anyone has any sources they could provide.
