German delicacies for a carnivore ?

I live in a meat-poor region of the world (Asia) and am heading to a meat-rich one (Germany) for a week. I am SO excited to taste the difference!My question is; is there anything I should be sure to not miss? I plan on just heading to a supermarket and winging it. I am able to handle some cured meats but I have no idea where to start with sausageI hope it’s the beef buffet I’m dreaming of
