Regarding Grease

Serious question. How do y’all deal with the grease? Particularly with a cast iron skillet, can we trade LPTs for the grease that gets everywhere outside the pan, and collecting the grease inside? I have a splatter cover and that helps a lot but I wonder if I’m missing anything.
